Yes — if you connect Stripe or a supported regional gateway and the customer has a card on file. The portal lets them save a card; the system auto-charges on invoice issue.
What if a recurring invoice needs manual approval?
Mark the template as "draft on generate." The system creates the invoice in DRAFT, you review and click Send. Useful for variable-amount recurring (utility bills, consumption-based billing).
How is recurring different from subscription billing tools like Chargebee?
